The AS3B is a tri-shelf cable management system. It can be used with or without a Plasma/LCD mount. This unit is designed to fit under your display and provide an on wall solution for other components such as cable boxes, DVD players, game consoles, and stereo components. There are three 2.25" holes on the aluminum plate that allow you to cleanly run your cables up to your TV or down to another component, as well as out the bottom to an outlet. After reviewing our competition we realized that most shelving units need to be mounted directly into a wall stud. In most cases the wall stud is placed to the right or to the left of the display, which is not where most people prefer to have their shelves mounted. This is still the most secure option however, after significant research we've fount that using the correct toggle bolts can allow you to mount your shelving unit wherever you see fit. With the combination of four of these toggle bolts the shelving unit is able to hold well over 70LBS safely. Each individual toggle bolt provides 75LBS of support. Please not that a good toggle bolt is still only as good as the quality of the drywall it is mounted into. If you have water damage or .25" drywall please add a support for your shelving unit.

Pros:
1. Looks nice.
2. Sturdy.
3. Functional.
4. Provides a good solution for those in need of wall mounted components.
5. Best price for this type of product.

Cons:
1. Will cause you the most frustration any product will ever cause you in this price range, I promise!
2. The plastic wrapping on the glass has to be pealed off like skin after a sunburn, you will be cursing aloud after the first side of the first pane, by the third piece of glass you will have wished you never bought the product and likely be needing psychological counseling.
3. The threads on the bolts were damaged making it impossible to start the nut. This was the case 3/4 times. If you don't have an expensive re-threading kit like I do, forget it!

Good luck, I hope you have a better experience.

If your trying to figure out what component shelf to buy look no further my friends. Before I purchase anything I usually click on Amazon.com to get individuals reviews/opinions. Let me tell you, if you are in the market for a Component shelf for your lcd look no further. This is a beautiful, attractive 3 tray shelf which I put my Bose Stereo and Xbox 360 on.

Both components have plenty of room to set on their individual tray and wire management is not difficult at all. When sitting away from my stand I do not see any wires which is very important to me. The other thing I would recommend to anyone that is in the market for something like this. Do 'NOT' place it under your flat screen tv! Why you might ask? The reason for this is when I'm watching a movie on my flat screen tv all I want to see in my 'field of view' is the tv and not a 3 tray shelf with electronic components!

I've seen so many customer images with their component shelfs under their beautiful flat screen tvs and under their tvs they have this big, honking shelf!

Trust me, you will enjoy the movie that you are watching more if all that is in front of you is the movie and not anything else that is going to distract you.
This shelf stands in the corner of my room and looks very attractive I must add. All my friends and family also complement this stand when they first enter my room.

So, there you have it. Just buy it instead of pulling your hair out trying to figure out which one to buy...

Measure twice purchase once. This is a beautiful looking shelf but like the reviews say.it is shallow on the shelf depth. I have alotta weight on this shelf and the glass does scare me but then it is holding well so far 2 months now.
love it

What a nice concept since I want the toys off the floor this was perfect for my needs ...the glass shelves are heavy with tempered glass & this was easy to put together although I didn`t get a pack list or an instruction list ( think they got in a hurry packing it to get it to me before the 24 th . this unit is exactly the same as the ready set mount product so I got the instructions from my friend who had bought 1 from ready set mount .

Anyway it,s a nice unit and very sturdy with enough space for all your wireing to slide through . I have an amp that controls a dvd & vhs player along with 6 heavy guage speaker wires and that all fit so did the antena cable and plugs for the units .

a little note here ... you do need 2 people to hang this one on the wall if your placing it under your tv as I did because it,s a little hard to put the two little screws in on top and heavy .

I would give this product full-star rating if the central spine tube hiding wires could accomodate larger cords.
